The son of former Wooroolin resident Suzy Rackemann – who died after an alleged assault in August – has been charged with murder.
Conor Robert Rackemann, 29, was originally charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm over an incident which allegedly occurred at Ms Rackemann’s Upper Kedron home just before 6:00am on August 17.
Ms Rackemann was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with critical head injuries but died just over a week later.
On Thursday, police upgraded the assault charge to murder (domestic violence offence).
The matter was mentioned in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday, where it was adjourned to November 4.
Conor Rackemann was remanded in custody.
