Police have reminded residents that it is an offence to damage, interfere with or steal election signs.

A police spokesperson said anyone caught interfering with an election sign could be charged with stealing or wilful damage.

The corflute voting signs will be taken down after October 26.

southburnett.com.au received a complaint from a candidate last week that their signs had “disappeared” from roadsides.
