A faulty bathroom exhaust fan sparked a mini-emergency in Kingaroy on Thursday morning.
Fire crews were called to a single-storey timber residence on the corner of Norman and Doonkuna streets about 6:45am after reports of a small fire in a bathroom.
Police, QAS and Ergon also attended the incident.
A QFD spokesperson said the fire had already been extinguished when firefighters arrived, but they ensured the area was safe and ventilated the building.
All the occupants were safely outside the house.
