Early voting for the 2024 Queensland State Election opens on Monday (October 14).

If you live in the South Burnett, you have the choice of eight candidates standing in the electorate of Nanango  (download Nanango electorate map – 1.4Mb PDF)

Early voting will continue daily, from 8:00am to 6:00pm (excluding weekends) until October 25 at the venues listed below.

The actual Election Day is Saturday, October 26, where polling booths (also below) will be open from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Remember, voting is compulsory, and ALL squares must be numbered on your ballot paper.

If you can’t make it to an early voting venue or a polling booth, you can apply for a postal vote, but you had better hurry as postal vote applications close on Monday at 7:00pm.

There are eight candidates standing for the Nanango Electorate (shown in ballot paper order below):

  • HOPKINS, Anthony – Legalise Cannabis Queensland
  • MASLEN, Adam – One Nation
  • MITCHELL, Benjamin – Family First
  • MILES, Jason – Independent

The ballot draw was conducted at the office of the Returning Officer in Nanango last Tuesday.

Early voting begins on Monday (October 14).

The following venues in the Nanango Electorate will be open from 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday:

  • Blackbutt – Old Blackbutt General Store Precinct, 43-45 Coulson Street
  • Kingaroy – Kingaroy Showground, 31 Youngman Street (via gate opposite Oliver Bond Street)
  • Nanango – Nanango Cultural Centre, 48 Drayton Street
