Murgon police are searching for a stolen SUV later linked to an attempted break-in at Yallakool Tourist Park at Bjelke-Petersen Dam.
Thieves stole the grey 2015 Hyundai ix35 (registration CDS-444) from a driveway in Macalister Street, Murgon, at some time after 8:00pm on Tuesday.
A police spokesperson said it was unknown how the offenders took the vehicle as the victim still has the keys.
The break-in occurred about 11:20pm the same night.
Police will allege four young people, carrying a large metal pipe, tried to enter a kiosk in Haager Drive, Moffatdale, by attempting to open a glass sliding door however were deterred by an occupant in the building.
They then fled the area.

Murgon police are also seeking the public’s help in regards to a break-and-enter which occurred in Cobb Street North between 6:30am on Saturday and 4:40pm on Sunday.
The thieves smashed a window to enter the house where they found a set of vehicle keys.
They then stole a grey Nissan Dualis which was later located burnt out on Bell Street, Cherbourg.
Firefighters were called to reports a vehicle was on fire just after 5:00am on Wednesday.
