Eligible rural landholders hit by last year’s bushfires have been invited to apply for assistance from the Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA).

Rural Landholder Recovery Grants of up to $10,000 are available to help cover clean-up and other costs following the September to November fires.

Eligible local government areas include the South and North Burnett,  Southern Downs, Toowoomba and Western Downs.

Eligible applicants must not have already received other disaster grants or loan assistance for the bushfires.
