Musicians (and anyone who would like to join in) have been invited to visit the Bunya Mountains on Saturday to “Play Music On Nature’s Porch”.
“Play Music On The Porch Day” is a global event which started with a very simple idea … what if for one day everything just stopped and we all just listened to music?
There are events planned right around the world!
The Bunya Mountains Community Association is hosting the local event from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Saturday at the Dandabah Day Use Area (near the giant hand statue).
Blackbutt Lions will be running a sausage sizzle and the Community Association will have drinks and snacks for sale.
Local musicians have already indicated that they’ll be coming along (including the Shedders) but anyone wanting to sing, play, listen or join in is invited, too!
“Bring along your family, friends, a musical instrument and /or your voice and join us for a day of music,” BMCAI secretary Carol Weekes said.
