A grant application by the South Burnett Regional Council for a new vehicle to be used by local State Emergency Service groups has been approved by the State Government.
The aim of the SES Support Grant program is to provide financial assistance to local councils to support SES groups responding to disasters and emergencies.
Council will receive $42,644.86 – 75 per cent of the total cost – to buy the vehicle.
The SBRC will cover the rest of the purchase cost.
