A Kingaroy man has won more than $50,000 in a Keno draw at the Kingaroy RSL Club.
He will receive $54,360 after locking in the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in Draw 770 on Tuesday.
“I’m very excited!” the winner said when a Keno official called to confirm his prize.
“I’ve been playing the same numbers for over 20 years now, patiently waiting for them to deliver a win.
“This has honestly come at just the right time as I desperately need to upgrade my car.
“I was planning on just getting something basic but I think I’ll really splash out and treat myself now.
“There’s a lot of ideas rushing through my mind. I’ll have to give it some deep thought.”
Kingaroy RSL Club manager Maxine Tessmann said this was the biggest Keno win at the club and everyone was excited for the winner.
“We’re so happy that a local and loyal customer has won such an amazing prize,” she said.
“We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.”
