Local tourism organisation Visit South Burnett hosted a meet’n’greet for businesspeople at the end of their “resilience” workshop this week.

The group hosted two days of talks at the Kingaroy Town Hall Reception Room with the aim of tackling common issues that event organisers often face, including volunteer burnout and succession planning.

The two-day event was free, funded by South Burnett Regional Council and a Federal Government Black Summer Bushfire Recovery grant.

The meet’n’greet, held on Tuesday night, enabled workshop participants to mingle with tourism operators and other local businesspeople plus chat to the workshop facilitators.
