Queensland Hydro – the government-owned corporation behind the proposed Borumba Dam pumped dam project – is inviting applications from the community to take part in several groups.
It has opened Expressions of Interest for membership of one of its three initiatives:
- Stakeholder Reference Group – a consultative group which aims to capture stakeholder feedback, facilitating transparent, two-way community and stakeholder engagement
- Focus groups – designed to capture community and stakeholder feedback through facilitated in-depth discussions on dedicated topics
- Community Benefits Panel – the Panel will review, assess, and recommend eligible applications for funding for endorsement by Queensland Hydro
