A motorbike rider was airlifted to hospital after a crash on the D’Aguilar Highway just north of Yarraman on Sunday afternoon.

The Sunshine-Coast based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue flew the man, aged in his 50s, to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

A spokesperson said the rider suffered multiple cuts and abrasions after he lost control of his motorbike about 3:00pm.

He was taken by ambulance to Errol Munt Park in Yarraman before being transferred to the rescue helicopter.

Two men, both aged in their 40s, were taken by ambulance to Esk Hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash on Turtle Creek Road near Harlin about 8:00pm on Saturday.

A QAS spokesperson said one man suffered a shoulder injury while the other had a chest injury.

A man was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Oakey-Cooyar Road at Evergreen just before midnight on Friday.

From Monday (July 1) Queensland Fire and Emergency Services will be known as the Queensland Fire Department (QFD).
