The South Burnett Community Orchestra is holding two special concerts this weekend in memory of one of their much-loved members.
Violinist Sonya Pearson died in hospital in Brisbane about a fortnight after she suffered critical injuries in a single-vehicle crash at Goodger on February 19.
The “Music is Life” concerts in Kingaroy and Nanango this weekend will be raising funds for RACQ LifeFlight Rescue which flew Sonya to hospital for treatment.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children, and can be booked online (see below) or purchased at the door.
The two concerts are:
- Saturday (June 15) – 6:30pm at the Kingaroy High School Performing Arts Centre (KPAC). Book online here
