A Coroner has been unable to determine the cause of death of a former Cherbourg woman whose body was found inside a duffle bag at the base of the Kangaroo Point cliffs in Brisbane in September 2018.
Constance Watcho, 36, was last seen alive in November 2017 in Brisbane and was reported missing after she had not contacted family members.
A $250,000 reward was announced by police in 2019 a bid to solve the mystery surrounding her death.
An inquest was announced in 2022.
On Thursday, Deputy State Coroner Stephanie Gallagher said the place and cause of Ms Watcho’s death was still unknown but the circumstances were suspicious.
However, there was a possibility she had died from some other unknown cause.
Three people of interest had been identified during the investigation but there was insufficient evidence to identify anyone involved in the death.
