A steady stream of visitors dropped into Yarraman’s Heritage House at the weekend to browse the hundreds of titles on sale at a special Book Fair.
All the books had been donated to raise funds to support Heritage House’s activities.
History Room volunteer Angela Apperley was in charge when southburnett.com.au visited on Saturday morning.
She said the Yarraman community had been extremely generous with their donations, either dropping books off to her house or directly to Heritage House.
The sale ran from 8:00am to 4:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Angela said Heritage House may run a similar book fair later this year.
