Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) is encouraging residents to have a say on Council’s services, activities and performance.

The Community Satisfaction survey can be completed online

Mayor Cr Geoff McDonald said the survey was an opportunity for residents to provide direct feedback to Council about the wide range of services TRC provides.

“It’s all about ensuring we get a wide-range of views, to help Council improve our priorities, processes, systems and facilities,” Mayor McDonald said.

“I encourage as many people as possible to have their say so that we can plan for the future with the community’s wishes at heart.”

Mayor McDonald said Council had hired an external provider to undertake the survey and some residents may receive a phone call.

“If you receive a call asking for your help in completing the survey, this isn’t a scam and you won’t be asked for personal details like your address or date of birth. If you are concerned about a call you receive please report this to the relevant authorities,” Mayor McDonald said.

The survey is expected to take about 15 minutes and will remain open until June 9.

  1. It would be lovely to have welcome to Yarraman signs like Blackbutt and Kingaroy have. Statement pieces as you enter the town.

  2. I agree with more welcoming signage and would like to see more positive icons, like the “horse” etc rather than scary looking totem poles that look really ugly and have no meaning at all. I want our town to prosper and to be remembered for something special like the stockman and graziers that would meet together at the creek. I hope these ugly statues are replaced with more welcoming icons in the near future.
