A total of 450 cattle were yarded in Murgon for Tuesday’s fortnightly cattle sale.
All descriptions remained reasonably firm, and export cattle showed some promise with increases in places, as did better feeder types.
Better quality weaner steers also sold strongly but lighter weaner heifers were still hard to place.
Cattle for the sale were drawn from Gayndah, Mt Perry, Durong, Nanango, Kingaroy, Kilkivan and the Murgon district.
Sale results:

- Heavy cows over 500kg sold to $2.38/kg and $1520
