A workshop focussing on fungicide resistance in mungbean and barley crops will be held in the Toowoomba region next week.
Growers and agronomists have been invited to attend the workshop and field walk on the Gwynne family farm ‘Tangalooma’, near Formartin (south-east of Dalby), from 2:30pm on April 7.
The workshop is being hosted by the Australian Fungicide Resistance Extension Network.
It will be led by Paul McIntosh, from Pulse Australia, with collaboration from the the University of Southern Queensland Centre for Crop Health and the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
Attendees will be able to inspect an experimental trial looking at 10 different spray scenarios to manage powdery mildew in mungbeans.
