The Murgon Business and Development Association (MBDA) is planning to have a permanent presence in the Murgon CBD after reaching an agreement with the South Burnett Regional Council.
The business group’s February executive meeting was told that committee members and Council had come to a verbal agreement over the use of a space within the Visitor Information Centre in Lamb Street.
The MBDA will be able to use a desk space and the building’s meeting room under a memo of understanding.
The arrangement will be trialled for 12 months at no cost to the MBDA.
