Five South Burnett not-for-profit organisations will share almost $140,000 in the latest round of Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants.

The results of Round 117 were announced on Thursday.

The successful South Burnett applicants were:

  • Blackbutt-Yarraman Rugby League Football Club – $35,000 to construct sports fields
  • Nanango Amateur Swimming Club Inc – $11,098 to buy a timing system and equipment
  • Nanango Rugby League Football Club Inc – $35,000 to install fencing and gates
  • Blackbutt-Yarraman QCWA Branch – $23,812 to install a solar system and upgrade facility
  • Yarraman State School P&C – $35,000 to buy a stage and fans

The five South Burnett organisations were among 545 across the State to receive grants in this round.

The last round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund for 2023 is open for applications until midnight on November 7.
