The Queensland Country Women’s Association (QCWA) is offering bursaries worth a total of $30,000 to Queensland students.
Applications are now open, from both male and female secondary and tertiary students, for bursaries ranging from $500 to $2500.
The bursaries cover different ages and areas of study.
QCWA State President Sheila Campbell said the bursary campaign was an annual highlight for the association.
“The ability of the association to award these bursaries is due to the generous donations received from benefactors who have supported our bursary funds over a number of years,” Ms Campbell said.
“Education is a cornerstone of the QCWA, so we offer a number of bursaries every year to assist Queensland students with the cost of their studies.”
Bursaries on offer include:
- Ruth Fairfax Memorial Bursary for rural studies (2 x $2500)
- Audrey J. Hoskin Music Bursary for vocal or instrumental studies (1 x $1000)
- Mallalieu Home Foundation Trust Scholarship for accommodation for music study (4 x $500)
