A 47-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged after allegedly “pigging out” at BaconFest.
Kingaroy Police picked up the man at 10:36pm on Friday in Barbara Street as he pedalled home from the event.
Police will allege he was riding a pushbike under the influence and obstructing traffic.
He allegedly blew 0.126 BAC when he was later tested at Kingaroy Police Station.
A police spokesperson said the cyclist will face a number of charges, including providing his brother’s name to police.
He was bailed to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on October 5.
