A vehicle stolen from Webster Street in Murgon was later found burnt out.
A Murgon police spokesperson said investigations were continuing into a burglary which occurred last week.
The keys to a black Mitsubishi SUV were stolen during the incident.
Firefighters were called to the burning vehicle in Bulgi Street, Cherbourg, at 6:30am on Saturday.
