A good crowd turned out at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on Saturday to watch the South Burnett Saints’ last home games for 2023.
All three Saints’ teams were in action.
In U14s, the Saints’ Mixed team kicked three goals against their much-stronger opponents, South Toowoomba Bombers.
In the Women’s game, the Bombers also proved too strong for the home team, 5.8-38 to 1.1-7.
In the Men’s game, South Toowoomba took home the treble: 12.10-82 to 3.8-26.
The Saints’ men will be playing their last game of the year in the Darling Downs AFL competition on Saturday at Rockville Park, in Toowoomba, against the Toowoomba Tigers.
