The Dalby Swans proved too strong for the Saints Women in a low-scoring game played at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy on Saturday.
It was the only Australian Rules match played by the South Burnett Saints at the weekend, as both the men’s team and the mixed U14s had byes.
The final score was 3.15-33 to 1.4-10.
This weekend is the last round of the regular season in the Darling Downs competition for the women and the U14s, and the second last for the men.
The three Saints teams will be taking on their rival teams from the South Toowoomba Bombers at Lyle Vidler Oval in the club’s last home games for the 2023 season: U14s at 11:00am, women at 12:45pm and men at 2:30pm.
