UPDATE: The 15-year-old boy has been safely located during a search and rescue.
Police are seeking the public’s help to find a 15-year-old boy who could be in the Wrattens Forest area near Widgee.
The boy was last seen by family on Wednesday (July 26) in Biloela and by a friend in Kilkivan.
He has not been heard from since and was reported missing to police on Sunday
Family and police hold concerns the boy may be injured or lost in bushland.
He was wearing a black hoodie, cream shorts, a dark green cap and red, white and black Nike shoes.
A search and rescue operation has been co-ordinated by local police which includes SES volunteers and a rescue helicopter.
Police have asked local property owners to check their surroundings for any signs of the missing boy.
