Two South Burnett cemeteries were earmarked for upgrades in the recent Council Budget.
Taabinga Cemetery, just outside Kingaroy, will be expanded at a cost of $52,000, and the car park and internal roads will receive a $75,000 makeover.
Proston Cemetery will also be expanded and work done on the internal road at a cost of $30,000.
Another $25,000 has been allocated to upgrade signage at South Burnett cemeteries.

Money has also be allocated for airport upgrades
Kingaroy Aerodrome’s security fence and gate will be allotted another $60,000 (50 per cent funded by the Federal Government) and $40,000 will be spent on linemarking.
The car park at Wondai Aerodrome will also be resealed at a cost of $45,000.
