South Burnett Regional Council marked NAIDOC Week with a morning of activities in Kingaroy’s Town Hall Forecourt on Thursday.

There were stalls and an energetic performance by the Wakka Wakka Dancers from Cherbourg.

Culture was strong in some of the youngsters watching the performance who were doing their own versions of the dances on the library lawn.

Also popular was the barbecue, hosted by Kingaroy Rotary Club members.

The activities were organised by Council’s Community Development team.
