Eligible community groups and sporting clubs across the Toowoomba region have been encouraged to apply for Toowoomba Regional Council funding for projects.
Applications for Round 1 of the TRC’s 2023-24 Community Support Grant Program will open on Saturday (July 1).
Online applications close at 5:00pm on August 1.
“If you’re involved in a not-for-profit community group or sporting club, I encourage you to apply for a TRC Community Support Grant,” Cr James O’Shea said.
“The grants are just one of the ways TRC supports the community with grants available from $2500 and above twice annually through this program.
“Things such as upgrading facilities, increasing participation and facility usage, workshops and collaborations and fostering inclusiveness are all worthy of consideration through the grants process.”
