Kingaroy Police are bringing their popular “Coffee With A Cop” back to Kingaroy Shoppingworld next week.
Local residents have been invited to drop into Muffin Break between 10:00am and 11:30am on Wednesday, June 28.
Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney, said it was an opportunity to break down barriers and ask any questions residents may have about local police.
“Join us for some conversations and let us share knowledge of better security practices to reduce the risk of becoming a victim to crime,” Snr Sgt Tierney said.
Coffee with a Cop is a state-wide initiative by the QPS to give members of the community the opportunity to talk to local police about any issues, concerns, or questions they have, all while sharing a cup of coffee together.
