It’s Ladies Day this weekend for the South Burnett Saints AFL Club at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy.
All three Saints’ teams – U14s Mixed, Men and Women – will be in action against the South Toowoomba Bombers on Saturday.
It’s sure to be big day, will all funds raised going towards the Cancer Council Queensland’s Pink Ribbon campaign.
Games start with the U14s at 11:00am followed by the women at 12:45pm and the men at 2:30pm.
Spectators who have bought the special $30 tickets will be able to enjoy hot and cold platters, desserts and a free bubbly (or soft drink) on arrival.
(Limited tickets will also be available for sale on the day).
There’ll also be games on the lawn and raffles.
The Saints women travelled to Dalby last Saturday to face the Dalby Swans.
It was a closely contested game, but the Swans ended up victorious 3.4-22 to 1.3-9.
