Murgon Agents yarded 750 head on Wednesday, April 26 – a day later than normal due to the Anzac Day public holiday.
Processing cattle were slightly dearer in places, mainly bullocks, bulls and heavier cows, but feeders and better quality weaner steers remained firm.
The weaner heifer market, however, was very tough.
Cattle for the sale were mostly drawn from Mt Perry, Gayndah, Mundubbera, Durong, Kingaroy, Nanango, Kilkivan and the Murgon district.
