Police peacefully defused a tense seven-hour stand-off in Nanango on Sunday evening.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Hay Street about midday in relation to an alleged domestic violence-related matter.
A 26-year-old man, who was believed to be armed with a crossbow, refused to leave the address.
Police negotiated with the man, who was taken into custody without incident just after 7:00pm.
A police spokesperson said no one was physically injured.
The man was transported to Kingaroy Hospital.
Investigations remain ongoing.
