Police have confirmed they are investigating the assault of a man in Maidenwell in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A police spokesperson said a number of people had spoken to police in regards to the alleged incident.
A local resident who contacted southburnett.com.au said there were multiple police vehicles parked outside the Maidenwell Hotel on Sunday morning.
Investigations are ongoing.
