UPDATE February 22: The Pound Street meeting will now be held on March 1 after the morning committee meeting.
The planned South Burnett Regional Council debate on the future of Pound Street will now be held on February 27.
This follows a procedural motion moved by Cr Kirstie Schumacher on Monday morning.
Cr Schumacher informed the Chamber that Cr Danita Potter’s mother-in-law had died at the weekend.
“Our of respect to Cr Potter and her loss and (the fact she is) the Divisional leader for the area of Pound Street, I’d like to move that the meeting stands adjourned until Monday, February 27, 2023 at 8:30am,” Cr Schumacher said.
The motion was seconded by Cr Kathy Duff and passed 5-0.
