QAS paramedics assessed one person at the scene after a single-vehicle crash on the Bunya Highway on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident, near the Ironpot Road intersection just north of Kumbia, about 6:30pm.
The crash caused delays on the highway for several hours.
Kumbia Police later thanked local residents for their help at the scene:
“A big thank you to everyone who assisted/offered to assist police with a traffic crash on the Bunya Hwy yesterday afternoon-early hours this morning. From people stopping and helping with traffic control, staff at Rykes and a nearby farmer helping clean up the highway after midnight. So many amazing people in our community.”
A QAS spokesperson said the driver of the vehicle declined transport to hospital.
