Community groups and sporting clubs across the Toowoomba region have been encouraged to apply for funding for projects through the Toowoomba Regional Council.
Applications for Round 2 of the 2022-23 Community Support Grant Program will open on February 1 and close on March 1.
“If you’re involved in a not-for-profit community group or sporting club, I encourage you to apply,” Cr Tim McMahon said.
He said grants of up to $2500 were available.
“Things such as upgrading facilities, increasing participation and facility usage, workshops and collaborations and fostering inclusiveness are all worthy of consideration through the grants process, Cr McMahon said.
