Royal Flying Doctor senior base pilot Nick Tully will be the special guest speaker at a fundraising afternoon tea in Kingaroy on February 12.

The afternoon has been organised by the Kingaroy QCWA as a fundraiser for the RFDS.

Nick, the son of QCWA president Wendy Tully, will share his experiences as a medical pilot over the past nine years.

Funds raised will go towards the replacement of ageing aircraft and to update vital medical equipment.

The afternoon tea will be held from 2:00pm on Sunday, February 12, at the QCWA Hall, 122 Kingaroy Street, Kingaroy.

Donations to the RFDS will be accepted at the door and there will be a $5 charge for devonshire tea.
