Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash which occurred at Mount Stanley on Saturday morning.
Initial information suggests a motorcycle with a passenger in a sidecar was travelling north along Western Branch Road about 11:30am when it left the roadway, crashing into a ditch.
The rider, a 68-year-old man, died at the scene.
The sidecar passenger, a 56-year-old woman, was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Investigators would like to speak to anyone who was driving in the area in the time before the crash.
