December 1, 2022

The auditorium at TAFE Queensland’s Nurunderi campus in Cherbourg was filled with proud students, their friends and family members on Wednesday for the college’s annual graduation ceremony.

Certificates were presented to Certificate I, II and III students across a range of subjects, including Business, Salon Assistant, and Individual Support (Ageing and Home and Community Care).

Jenni Butler, general manager for the South West region of TAFE Queensland, sent a special message of support congratulating all the graduates for their dedication and hard work.

“One requires courage to make a commitment to further education and skills,” she said.

“Additionally, it takes dedication and perseverance to complete a qualification.

“Today we celebrate your devotion and the efforts you have made towards enhancing your education.

“This is the start of your next journey and I wish you well as you continue to update and refine your skills.”

Teachers invited each student to the front of the auditorium to receive their certificates.

Cherbourg councillor Fred Cobbo and Mayor Elvie Sandow also took part in the graduation ceremony, handing out certificates and congratulating the students on their accomplishments.
