There is still time for South Burnett residents to comment on the draft master plan for Kingaroy’s Memorial Park and WJ Lang Memorial Pool.
Council and the Otium Planning Group have been conducting community consultations on the draft plan for the past couple of weeks.
The office next to the Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street has been set up with displays of plans, photos, a flythru video and access to the Community Survey.
The remaining dates when the office will be open are:
- Monday, November 28 – 4:30pm to 6:30pm
- Wednesday, November 30 – 8:30am to 10:30am
There will also be an information session at the Kingaroy Pool in Alford Street on Tuesday, December 13, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
A Council spokesperson said community input was vital in the development of the park and pool and for future development of the region.
