Firefighters were called on Tuesday to extinguish two more stolen vehicles dumped and burnt in Cherbourg.

About 6:00am, police were called to two vehicles on fire in Fisher Street.

The vehicles were a Nissan Pulsar, stolen from Rothwell on November 22, and a Mitsubishi Triton, stolen from Ellen Grove, on the morning of November 23.

A police spokeperson said investigations led police to locate an 11-year-old boy.

He has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and arson of a motor vehicle.

He will appear in Murgon Children’s Court.

Investigations are continuing.

The latest incident follows two stolen vehicles – a Holden Astra and a Toyota Yaris – burnt in Cherbourg last weekend.
