Racing at the Kingaroy Junior Motorcycle Speedway track … the club has been named as a finalist in two MQ awards

The Kingaroy Junior Motorcycle Speedway Club has been named as a finalist in the annual Motorcycle Queensland awards.

It will be competing against the North Brisbane Junior MCC and the Road Race Association of Townsville for the Club of The Year title.

It is also a finalist in the Series Of The Year award for its Kingaroy McDonald’s Club Championships.

Club members Cordell Rogerson and Natalie Phillips-Driscoll are finalists for Youth Volunteer of the Year.

Colin Stratford is a finalist for Volunteer of the Year.

Tracey and Andrew Tunstall have also been nominated for the Official of the Year award.

Riders Jordy Loftus and Anika Loftus, who are regular competitors in Kingaroy, are finalists as State Male and Female Junior Riders of the Year.

Winners will be announced on December 8 at a function in Brisbane – the first time the awards have been presented at a live event since the pandemic began.
