Three people have died following a light plane crash in bushland near Fernvale on Monday.
A police spokesperson said preliminary information indicated the aircraft left Dalby at 10:00am and was due to land at Archerfield at 2:00pm.
Authorities began searching for the aircraft when it failed to arrive.
The aircraft was located during an aerial search.
All three occupants died at the scene.
The QPS Forensic Crash Unit will investigate circumstances of the crash with assistance from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
