Looking for a cheap night out with free entertainment and food? Then mark your calendars for Friday, August 12, and the return of Winter Warmers for 2022.

The annual event, organised by the South Burnett Suicide Prevention Working Group, will be held in the Kingaroy Town Hall Forecourt from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

There’ll  be free stews prepared by Endeavour Kitchen, a sausage sizzle hosted by the Kingaroy Men’s Shed and live entertainment by the South Burnett’s own Amber Goldsmith.

The popular Depressed Cake Shop will also be there with their tasty treats.

Organisers have suggested people bring along their own chairs (and maybe a blanket … it could still be cold!) as well as money for raffles.

The free event is being supported by Wesley LifeForce / Wesley Mission, who hope to encourage conversations about change within the community surrounding mental health issues.
