A Murgon resident awoke on Saturday night to find a thief inside his bedroom.
The incident occurred about 10:45pm at a house in Jefferies Street.
The intruder stole a vehicle key and then drove off in a white 2019 Kia Cerato hatchback (rego 482-ZFJ).
Investigations are continuing into the incident and the vehicle is still missing.

Between June 20 and July 1, thieves stole wall frames from a concrete slab on a rural property on Coverty Road, Coverty.

Between July 2 and July 3, petrol thieves attempted to siphon fuel from a vehicle parked at a residence in Webster Street, Murgon. The would-be thieves also damaged gardening equipment.

Between 11:00pm and 11:16pm on June 28, a fire was started in a green wheelie bin outside a business located in Macalister Street, Murgon.

About 11:15pm on Friday, vandals damaged a wooden door of a business in Mackenzie Street, Wondai, detaching it from the frame and leaving it on the floor inside the property.

Between noon on Saturday and 9:00am on Sunday, thieves broke into a garage at the rear of a house in Lamb Street, Murgon. They entered a vehicle, damaged gardening equipment and stole a motorised scooter. The scooter was located a short distance from the address.
