The recently installed South Burnett Regional Youth Council will be hosting the next Kingaroy Chamber of Commerce and Industry meet’n’greet.

The meet’n’greet will be held from 5:30pm on Tuesday, July 12, at the Kingaroy Town Hall Reception Room in Glendon Street.

The Youth Council is a diverse group of 18 young people aged between 14 and 23 who are advocating for the needs of the young people who live in the South Burnett.

They hope to work together with Council and residents to build a strong and inclusive community.

Other guest speakers at the meet’n’greet will be TAFE Kingaroy business development officer Evalyn Thompson and Stanwell general manager (southern generation) Mick Joy.

Cost to attend is $10.00 per person (non-members $15.00).
