The Nanango Race Club will be wrapping up its 2021-22 racing season this weekend with their Winter Race Meeting.
Saturday’s meeting will have a “Winter Styles” fashion theme and patrons who dress to it will be able to win prizes in the Moffatdale Ridge Fashions Of the Field competition.
There will also be six races on the card, with Race 1 scheduled to jump at 1:10pm.
Buses will be running to the races from Kingaroy’s Glendon Street Bus Depot at noon, and the rear of Nanango’s Fitzroy Hotel at 12:30pm.
Saturday’s races are being sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kingaroy, Jeff Hannaford, Patrick Sexton, Fresh As Cleaning, Nanango Veterinary Service and Heritage Bank Nanango.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pensioners (under 15s are free) and gates open at 10:00am.
The Club’s next meeting will be the Nanango Cup in August, which is always one of the race club’s biggest meets of the year.
