Taromeo Country Music Club in Blackbutt is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
To acknowledge this landmark occasion, members are staging a “Back to the Sixties” bash at Blackbutt Memorial Hall on Sunday, July 17.
Everyone is welcome to dig out their old 60s gear and rock on from 10:00am until 4:00pm for only $5 entry.
Founding members, the Sempf family will be performing and hope to renew friendships with former members from over the years.
The Taromeo Country Music Club performs at many community events across the South Burnett and hold socials every two months.
Club members promise to provide a great mixture of music including rock, country and the best of the British Invasion to get you up and dancing.
Lunch is available and raffles will be held throughout the day for top prizes, including the best dressed 60s male and female.
The major prize is an oil painting, ‘The Fiddler”, donated by Heather Krebs-Daniel,
