A timber house in Scotts Lane at Runnymede was razed by fire on Wednesday evening.
Emergency services were called to the blaze about 6:30pm.
A QFES spokesperson said the dwelling was well alight when firefighters arrived.
Six fire crews attended the blaze.
They had the flames under control by 7:30pm and fully extinguished by 8:00pm.
All they could do then was dampen down the remains and ensure the area was safe.
A QAS spokesperson said paramedics also attended the incident, but no one required assessment or transport to hospital.
A fire investigator will attend the property on Thursday afternoon to determine the exact cause of the blaze but it is not believed to be suspicious.
